Hello Fathers,

We will be away for the next two weeks.  But meeting together again on Friday the 29th of  this month (July) so put that in your calendars!

Did you know that 70% of fathers lived primarily or entirely apart from their children.  An analysis of data from the National Longitudinal Survey of Children and Youth (NLSCY) yielded similar results. Among children whose parents had separated in 1998/99 and not reunited two years later, 72% lived primarily apart from their fathers.

I'm so proud of you guys! We are breaking this cycle in Surrey!  Together we are "Stopping the cycle of fatherless generations"!

All you young dads that are staying the course and being the change, staying in your child's lives are the true hero's of our community!

Meet up this Friday!

Canada Day Hello!

Hope all you dads had a great Canada day!  Looking forward to the next few months of sun and fun!  My son said to me the other day I can't wait to go to the lake and especially to see your fat belly Dad! I laughed of coarse but inside I new I missed the window to work out last winter.

Canada day was spent with family and friends we BBQ'd and swam in the pool, it was so much fun.  I got a little sun burned but it was worth it! I got to spend a lot of time with my baby boy Liam splashing around and being a kid myself.  I wouldn't of spent Canada Day any other way!  Have fun with your kids this summer and remember your kids are looking up to you, and don't forget to be a kid yourself!  Dave
